Tales From The Tomb

Four significant Tulare County residents, long deceased, will seemingly "raise from the dead" to tell their stories on how they impacted the lives of local residents.

This is a living history event and annual fundraiser for the Tulare County Historical Society. Actors dressed in period costume will bring to life the following pioneers who repose at the Visalia Cemetery: Benjamin Franklin Harris, known as the Greatest Liar in the Sierra; Dr. Fannie Seward Graham, a turn of the 20th Century osteopath; Edmond Edward Wysinger, a former slave who ended school segregation in California; and Jason Hillerson, better known as the Ghost of Willow Springs.
