End of the Trail Statue Centennial Celebration
The End of the Trail statue has called Mooney Grove Park home for 100 years!
Join us in celebrating this historic art piece on Sunday, September 29 at 2:00 p.m. at the statue in Mooney Grove Park. There will be a brief ceremony at the site of the statue and then guests are invited to the museum to view a new exhibit highlighting the End of the Trail statue and enjoy refreshments. Terry Ommen of the Tulare County Historical Society will give an overview of the history of the statue, Supervisor Shuklian will be present to give a proclamation, and Leland Castro will perform a Native American blessing. This event is free, however, the park will be charging and entrance fee of $6 per vehicle/$3 if a senior is driving. Come be a part of history as we look back on history!
